Music Road Records was established in 2007 by musician Jimmy LaFave and Dallas businessman Kelcy Warren. Located in Austin, Texas, Music Road also owns and operates two Texas based recording facilities — Cedar Creek Recording in Austin and Cherokee Creek Recording in the Texas hill country.
Music Road releases include Jimmy LaFave’s Depending On The Distance and Favorites, Slaid Cleaves’ Sorrow and Smoke and Everything You Love Will Be Taken Away, Sam Baker’s cotton, Kevin Welch’s A Patch Of Blue Sky, the Woody Guthrie Tribute Ribbon Of Highway Endless Skyway, and Malcolm Holcombe’s To Drink The Rain.
Music Road will release Garrett Lebeau’s Rise To The Grind on May 7 and Slaid Cleaves’ Still Fighting The War (preorder here) on June 18.
